Ryan Sommerfeld

With over 25 years in the golf business, Ryan brings with him a myriad of industry experience. As a PGA of Canada Professional, Ryan has completed thousands of lessons for all types of golfers and swing types. He grew up in Winnipeg and began his career at the Niakwa Country Club and then St. Charles CC, both in Winnipeg, From Winnipeg he jumped to the West Coast and continued his career at the Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club in Vancouver. After five years there, he shifted gears and became the Titleist rep for Vancouver and The Island. Shortly after that, he ended up in the Greater Toronto Area where he continued his career with Titeist while eventually opening up a teaching academy. Soon, the pull to go back home was too strong, so he ended up back in Winnipeg. Two years ago he moved with his family just outside of Portage la Prairie where he continues to be the rep for Cobra Golf Clubs and Puma Clothing and Accessories, covering both Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Now, Ryan is eager to teach again and pass along his knowledge to anyone wishing to enjoy golf just a little bit more. He’s pretty confident that the knowledge he’s gained teaching countless lessons, and by attending many teaching and coaching workshops across North America, that he can help you with your game.
